01 September 2023 : Acting Chairman of BNP Tarique Rahman said that the next national elections should be held under a non-partisan neutral government during the election period, keeping the fascist Hasina out of power. This demand of the people is not unconstitutional. Because, according to the constitution, the national parliament must be elected by the people through the representatives elected directly. But in 2014 or 2018, people were cheated in the name of national elections. The constitutional right of the people to elect their representatives through direct voting has been taken away. This is clearly a violation of the Constitution.
