BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi said, "Prime Minister said I will not bow down to foreign pressure, but Prime Minister you have to bow down to the power of the people."

He said this at a protest rally in front of Arambagh Notre Dame College on Thursday (June 8) against 'unbearable load shedding and widespread corruption in the power sector'.

After the stay, a delegation led by Dhaka District BNP President Khandaker Abu Ashfaq and General Secretary Nipun Roy Chowdhury went to Wapda Bhawan in Motijheel to hand over the memorandum.
