BNP Standing Committee member Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said that the government is looting the power sector. Electricity prices have been increased at will. Electricity bills are being collected from the people. But the government is not able to provide the necessary electricity to the people.

He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the prayer and food distribution ceremony on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of martyred President Ziaur Rahman in Aganagar and Telghat areas of South Keraniganj on Wednesday. Other BNP leaders including Dhaka District BNP General Secretary and South Keraniganj Thana BNP President Advocate Nipun Roy chowdhury were present at that time.
