A protest march was held on Friday (June 2) morning demanding the release of BNP National Executive Committee member Sheikh Rabiul Alam Robi. Starting from in front of the party's central office in Nayapaltan, Nightengale, Fakirapool turn around and come back to Nayapaltan and end with a short speech. BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi led the procession. Moments raised slogans demanding the release of BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, withdrawal of the false case of party acting chairman Tariq Rahman and the unconditional release of BNP executive committee member Sheikh Rabiul Alam Robi.
