A group of 25 to 30 people, led by Awami League leader Azhar Bangali attacked the BNP office in Zinjira area of Keraniganj on Friday afternoon, while the rally was going on, claimed Nipun, a member of the BNP’s Executive Committee.

A group of 25 to 30 people, led by Awami League leader Azhar Bangali attacked the BNP office in Zinjira area of Keraniganj on Friday afternoon, while the rally was going on. Dhaka District BNP General Secretary Nipun Roy Chowdhury and several leaders and activists were injured in an attack on Friday (May 26) morning during a public gathering at Zinjira in South Keraniganj of the capital. BNP alleged that the ruling Awami League party leaders started throwing brickbats at the rally. Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, the Senior Joint Secretary General of the BNP, was present as a chief guest at the rally.  Later, they were taken to a hospital, As a part of the central program, Dhaka district unit BNP organized the rally.
