"On the occasion of the death anniversary of the People's Leader Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhasani, I pay my deepest respects to his memory and pray for the forgiveness of his soul.

Maulana Bhasani was the voice of the oppressed and downtrodden people of Afro-Asia and Latin America. He was a strong advocate for the rights of the deprived. As a friend of the oppressed, Maulana Bhasani was a vocal opponent of imperialism, hegemony, and the tyrannical rulers and exploitative regimes. Today, our natural environment, land, people, and culture are under continuous direct and indirect aggression. At this critical juncture, the path shown by Maulana Bhasani is our guiding light. Throughout the ages, he will remain an inspiration in the struggle for the rights of the exploited and deprived people.

Maulana Bhasani will inspire us for generations in safeguarding independence, sovereignty, and democracy, and his patriotism will continue to motivate us. On this day, I call upon everyone to dedicate themselves to the welfare of the country and the nation, inspired by the ideals of Maulana Bhasani.
